Concept for new layout and design for Elten offices in Uedem.
We are located in the second floor of the building. The main idea is to open the ceiling to get new airy and modern look for the new offices. Those spaces should be used by 40 people, but shouldn't give the feeling of an open space office. Currently the floorplan is typical with closed offices and a big middle hallway with skylight.
In our solutions we are keeping the dividing walls, but only to a minimum degree covering only the aize of the workspace. This way we open the middle hallway and give it more light and a new function - meeting space. The currently transit space is in our design converted to the lively meeting point with possibilities for meetings - formal or informal.
Every office is facing the meeting middle space but is also possible to visibly and partly acousticly separate with acoustic curtains.
The only closed spaces on the west part of the floorplan is the office of the CEO and the formal meeting point in the middle. In the version 2 of the floorplan there is one more meeting room instead of one office.
In the east part of the floorplan is the silent part of the offices separated from the rest and a storage and packing room.
The entrance hallway should sourve also as a representation space with displayed shoes from Elten.
The kitchen works as another informal meeting point with different, more cosy atmosphere from the rest.
